Man and wolf have both evolved.

This is not part of the book, but here while I work on it:

I have lived most of my life with wolves until recently, changed due to Alaska laws saying Man and Wolf can no longer live together.
They were my sled dog team, and once carried my son to the hospital on a Christmas day (after midnight) when I could not get there because the gas stations were all closed.
Now, I can no longer live with wolves due to Alaska law........
I miss those I have spent the vast majority of my life with.........

There are some who claim the wolf has no place with man.
I have spent most of my life with wolf, and the laws in Alaska have changed,
we now have breed discrimination laws (BDL), and have made it legal, to kill wolf pups,
and illegal to give them lives in homes that would have given them love,
and the ability to earn their own keep by being my sled team,
and that is how I have lived the majority of my adult life,
a way of life, these law, put to an end.

I will apologize for being upset.
They killed wolves, who I could have given lives to,
and been able to have mine back at the same time.
Those wolves could have lived here.
How would anyone feel if I killed their dogs?
I'm upset I'm sorry but, I am upset by that.
